Michael has a wealth of knowledge in working with all formats of film including 70mm, 35mm, 16mm, Betacam, DCP and other digital formats. He is accredited by the National Film and Sound Archive as a projectionist with permission to handle and screen film prints from their collection.

He is the Cinema Technical Officer, The Australian Cinemateque at the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) and Senior Audio-visual Technician at Palace Cinemas. For over 14 years he has delivered complex, multi format and multi ratio presentations, coordinated and hosted Q&A events including the Brisbane International Film Festival, Brisbane Asia Pacific Film Festival.

Michael is passionate about motion pictures. Above all, he is driven by delivering fantastic content to audiences with the best possible sound and picture.
